Intellectual metallurgy

We created 20 posters with images and quotes of famous people, 4 for each city: Vyksa, Chusovoy, Almetyevsk, Chelyabinsk and Blagoveshchensk. All the characters in one way or another are connected with these cities, here they lived, studied and worked. For portraits, we found the most suitable engraving style, often used on postage stamps, as it was about the history of the region and about people who have long become its integral part.

Among the characters photographed on the posters, Vladimir Shukhov - engineer, architect, inventor and scientist, under whose leadership in Vyksa was created the world's first overlap of the shop of double curvature, preserved at the Vyksa Metallurgical Plant. Writer Viktor Astafyev, who worked in the Chusovoi as a locksmith, an ancillary worker, a teacher, a station attendant and a storekeeper, and a correspondent for the newspaper Chusovoy Rabochy. Also on the posters are writers Sergei Aksakov, Sergei Dovlatov and Pavel Bazhov, engineer Vladimir Blagikh, architect Alexei Gornostaev and many others.
